James graduated as a chiropractor from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2016; he then worked in Liverpool and the Wirral in private practice and for the medical team of Caldy rugby union team for 3 seasons - helping the team to become champions of National 2 and maintain their National 1 status. From his time in sport, he particularly enjoys treating athletes and sports injuries; however, he is happy to treat anyone from childhood to the elderly. He has trained to use instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation (IASTM) and spinal manipulation but has an interest in exercise-based rehabilitation. He is a keen runner and is currently studying running gait assessments with the aim to roll out a running assessment platform at Upgrade, in the near future.
