James qualified with a Masters in Chiropractic from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in 2002. 

James is an avid motorsports fan, especially motorbikes, which James has enjoyed riding. He also supports Gloucester Rugby and has successfully treated professional sports players including rugby players, throughout his career.

James has extensive experience of working with one of the UK’s most major manufacturers.  Applying chiropractic to an industrial setting for employees meant that as well as treating, James was assessing production line ergonomics and workstations and advising on how to reduce repetitive strain injuries on a regular basis.

Treatment modalities that James uses include various chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Thompson, Gonstead, SOT and Activator.  He uses soft tissue techniques ranging from deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, dry needling (medical acupuncture), Kinesio as well as regular taping, stretching, home exercises and ergonomic advice as appropriate.

When he is not working James is a busy and devoted dad to his baby daughter who arrived on 1st January 2015.  She has turned his life upside down (in a good way!) and leaves him with little time for anything else!

James has extensive experience of successfully treating a wide range of patients from  babies (including his own) to people in their late 90s, professional athletes to retiree golfers, labourers and professors.  He will tailor specific treatment plans to each individual.

His chiropractic interests include applying chiropractic to in an industrial or work setting, RSI or Repetitive Strain Injury, working with sports men and women to overcome injury and enhance performance,  and chronic neck pain and lower back pain.

James is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a full member of the British Chiropractic Association.  He is also recognised by most private health insurance companies including Bupa and Axa.
